Thank you Gabrielle Tate for taking the SHAPE Assessment. #1 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I find joy in brightening someone’s day, providing hope to their situation, seeing that they begin to believe again.

#2 Gift, Mercy Showing (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
From personal experiences and deliverance from things, I am able to connect and have empathy for others easily. I know for sure if it had not been for the mercy of God, I would not be here. I want others to understand that it is by what Jesus has done that we can be free and He’ll meet you where you are.

#3 Gift, Giving (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I’ve learned the importance of tithing and bringing offering. How it is vital to the upbuild of God’s church. I also know that I am a mere steward of what God has given to me. It really isn’t mine, I’m just managing it. So I give when He says to with joy!

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love to empower and encourage others! Literally, brings me joy to see someone that was sad or hurt, begin to smile again. I find myself encouraging/empowering more women and youth that have experienced trauma/abuse/neglect/lost/hurt/mentally ill/broken hearted.

2. I enjoy helping with youth and families, in whatever way. I believe in the family unit being as strong as possible. I also understand the trauma one can have experienced and how it affects the family unit (parents, children, siblings etc) if not freed from.

3. I really like spending time with my spouse and creating new memories/experiences with him.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Women of any age; Youth from 13-18; Young Adults 18-35

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Women ministry, Youth Ministry are exciting to me! I also understand that there is a lack of natural understanding of mental illness and treatment in the church. That’s a developing passion of mine as well.

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was raised in the church and accepted Christ early age. Experienced great loss at an early age. Initially raised in an abusive home. My mother passed away when I was 6 years old, father was a heroin addict and became a ward of the court. Guardianship granted to my baby sitter and that home abuse was present. I’ve always found church as a safe heaven. God has delivered me from abandonment issues, suicidality and depression.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Rhema Bible Church, Broken Arrow, OK; Served in Pray Groups on Saturday’s and in Rhema Regals (young girls ages 13-16) on Monday’s. Served for 3 years.

New Covenant United Holy Church, Durham, NC. Served in this church my entire life other than the three years at Rhema.
Youth ministry, participated in pray & healing school, active in young adult ministry ( care group leader and prayer leader).

Ministered my initial sermon on July 30, 2017.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My aunt and God father’s constant encouragement, speaking life into me

Marrying into a Godly family that has shown me how to be a Godly wife and mother one day.

Moving to Broken Arrow, OK with my husband. That experience while it was mostly challenging was the most positive influence in where I am today.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

The passing of my mother and abandonment of my father

The time I was ready to commit suicide but God saved me

The strained relationship with my adoptive mother
