Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love playing a role in ministry. I like making a plan and seeing it executed in a way that glorifies Christ and shares His love to the people around me.

2. I love spending time with my family. They are my joy in life and they help me be a better me.

3. I love time to worship. To sing praises and allow God to speak to me through music is good for my soul.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love working with my family the most– it brings me joy to serve with them. Aside from them I love working with my church family. I love the unity working together brings.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I love our kids ministry and hope to see it continue to grow… I want to see kids growing in a daily relationship with the Lord- learning to spend time with Him and excited to learn more about Him… I just wish I knew better ways to get them there and people that wanted to help in the process.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I came to know Christ when I was 8 through my church. I discused it with my mom, prayed to receive Christ and was baptized at this time. I continued to build on this foundation through a daily relationship with Christ, attending Church, being involved in service, missions and evangelistic opportunities so that my faith grows and people see Christ in me.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Cana Baptist Church, Burleson- member, youth, summer intern, choir, praise team- birth- college

First Baptist, Hot Springs- member, youth intern- ministry to girls- through college
Outdoor Discipleship Ministries- camp staff
Camp of the Woods- speculator, NY- camp staff/ LIFT program

First Baptist, Euless- member- Started new sunday school class, choir- 2 years
Keystone Church- on the “Launch” team and served in Camp Keystone and Set/up Tear/down teams and on the praise team- 1 year

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My youth group growing up- we were taught integrity and how to have a daily relationship with Christ and we were taught to evangelize and serve in our church.

My College- Ouachita Baptist– taught me how to digest scripture, provided opportunities to serve in the US and overseas, deepend my walk in Christ daily.

Working at SBTC- able to use my gifts in administration and even my creative abilites to serve churches all over Texas.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My Divorce- crushed my spirit/ confidence and I still find myself coming back from that. But God has used it as a milestone in my christian walk that Satan can no longer touch! Praise God!

Death of a child– when my niece passed and recently a cousin to Ashlynne passed unexpectedly- God took us all down a path we did not want but has shaped who we are.

Infertility- though I did have one child, we were not able to have a second, and I know some of the pain women experience as they want but do not receive a child- but trust God’s Sovereignty through it all.
