My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I met my husband when I was 18. He attended United Methodists Church. I was not a church-goer, however, I decided to go to a non-denominational church with him. Fell in love with church, God, and our preacher and was baptized.

Have always served in some capacity, whether serving in children’s ministry, communion/offering, life groups, etc. in the past 15 years through Sherwood oaks Christian Church in Bloomington, IN.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Meeting my husband and being introduced to the church/God

Getting married and having two children

Meeting my father when I was 14

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My husband losing his job when I was 8 months pregnant and we were building our future home.

Having gone through several health scares (breast issues and multiple myeloma testing)
