Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was raised in the church. My parents brought me to church my whole life. I made the decision to follow Christ for myself when I was 14. I had really influential youth group that helped me to become more of a leader. I have had seasons in life where I stray further from God, and times where I am I focused on Jesus. But ultimately I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that he died for my sins for that I could spend eternity with him.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Lakepoint Church, Muskego, WI. Worship Team, served for 3.5 years on Vocals and Keys

Crossover Bible Church, Tulsa, OK. Served on the Praise Team for 3 years, 2014-2016.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I got married to my beautiful wife in 2016. She has been a rock for me in hard times, and is always challenging me to be the best version of myself.

I joined Phi Mu Alpha, a music fraternity in college in 2011. The brothers I met then are friends I’ll have for life, and being with a group of men who could teach, shape me, sing with me, share life with me, made college a rich experience that it wouldn’t have been without them.

I went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic in 2009. I saw for the first time what true poverty looked like, and saw the joy that people still had even when they had almost nothing else, as long as they knew Jesus. I saw what can be done when people take time to help and give to others.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My dad was diagnosed with Lymphoma in 2012. He was able to beat it through chemotherapy, but I remember the fear and uncertainty I felt when I heard the initial diagnosis. It has helped give me empathy for others dealing with the sickness of a family member.

In 2016, the company I was working for at the time began to change the way we were beating treated as employees and I started looking to change careers. I ended up finding a job in Racine with SC Johnson, and the decision to take that job and move to Wisconsin has dramatically impacted my life. It was difficult at first, not knowing people in the area, and there was a lot of stress place on our new marriage by being away from family. I have compassion on those who are new to an area, and know what that’s life. And I have a great compassion for people who are unhappy with their job, and want to help them find a job where they will be happier.

I have struggled with addiction to pornography off and on since I was a teenager. I have made progress in the last few years through improved accountability, but it is still a struggle. I can empathize with people struggling with addiction and speak to God’s power to help when we open ourselves up to him.
