S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Marcia Phillips for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I grew up in the Anglican church and was always involved in church and thought I was a Christian. I went with my friend to a Youth for Christ Rally in Christiana in May 1979, a 2nd form student at Holmwood. The preacher spoke about being religious as opposed to being born again and it made me realise the need to be born again and right there I accepted salvation.
Fellowship Tabernacle – 1995 to April 2017 – Alter Ministry, Administrator, Discipleship Ministry, Assistant Leader, Health, Women and Social Outreach Ministries, member
1982 – 1995 Jamaica Fellowship for Believers – Young adults, Prayer and Women’s ministries, member
Sunday school teacher, choir member, youth leader
Growing up with my grandmother in Manchester – learning to form her that what you got out of life was dependent on how you respond to the events of life.
The impact on the lives of other, experiences I have garnered, the people I have met and the place I have been able to travel to both locally and internationally, because of my work in the development and project management fields.
The time I spent in UCCF at CAST (UTECH) and the spiritual and personal growth I experienced as well as the friendships I made have helped to shape my life.
Going through a divorce
Bring a single parent to a son
Experiencing organisational sabotage
