#1 Gift, Evangelism (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Giving the true gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ is every Christian’s mission statement from God above. It is essential to why Jesus has called us into HIS marvelous light: to witness to others and to make disciples of HIM!

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (71%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
One of my love languages is “words of affirmation”, therefore it is critical that I help to encourage others that they too can be great people and members of society.

#3 Gift, Teaching (68%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
It is helpful to know that these three spiritual gifts all seem to run parallel together; with Teaching being a major component of allowing all of these gifts to work harmoniously together.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Loving and working together and along side my wife. Our level of intimacy has grown so much because of what God is doing in our lives together.

2. Being a good, responsible and respectable father to my children is key for me. God has placed these two into our lives to be a living witness to them of God’s grace, mercy and love. It is my hope that my thoughts, habits and actions are an unforgettable truth of the awesome love that God has for both of them so that they will choose to live their lives to serve on the only true God!

3. My last guilty pleasure is cycling with good friends and family! This helps to motivate me to get stronger as cyclist while riding with others as a community. To ride out in the open road, to enjoy God’s green earth and to exercise while having fun is more than what I could ask for.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I am in this transition to where I wish to be engaged with younger people between the ages of 14 – 35. There was so much that I thought I understood about the christian walk that I know now that I really didn’t have a clue; still God is faithful through it all.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I am excited to see how God is going to use myself, my wife and my family to serve those who are “less fortunate” than us. To be living witnesses to the lost who are homeless, fighting addiction, depression, etc. is a challenge that God has equipped and prepared us for this moment and beyond.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was raised by both of my parents who had a faith in God that is identified by the Bible.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Youth Leader – permitted to teach the teenagers at Logos Bible Church in Pickerington, Ohio for 1 year before I stepped down.

Welcome Team ministry – “Welcomed” all church members and guests who walked through the doors of Logos Bible Church.

Cleaning ministry – Helped cleaned the sanctuary, class rooms, bathrooms and narthex at Logos Bible Church.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being able to witness on how the awesome grace of Jesus Christ falls upon another sinner and they recognize the length and magnitude of what God had done for them; which them leads them to a tear-filled, unspeakable joy of accepting Christ as their personal Savior!

My first daughter that was born.

When God chose to spare my wife’s life by curing her of systemic lupus and at the same time granting new life with a second daughter that was completely unexpected.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

The loss of my father to lung cancer.

The early loss of my older cousin.

The early loss of my good friend and spiritual mentor at my job.
