Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I grew up in a christian home in a communist country. I gave my life to Christ when I was about 10 years old. My parents helped me with that step.
Later in my early twenties I went through a difficult time that turned into a deception and rebellions for a short time until I had an encounter with god. All of a sudden I had conviction and repented and felt Gods love for me so strong and I promised I wanted to serve him all my life.

Seeing god working through me. Many time I though “I can not do this, it’s too hard or too big”, but as I stepped forward in obedience and God did the rest. It is true: His power is big in our weakness.
Serving in Missions opened up my eyes to other cultures and the beauty of God in each nation and the beauty to be part of the body of Christ regardless of where in the world.
Seeing God answer prayers, seeing god at work in people, healing people and setting people free, encouraging people, restoring hope, changing them and changing me overtime, that is so beautiful to see and is such a reflection of gods power.
My rebellious time with the great God encounter to follow helps me to understand how deception works and how great Christ’s love is for us and that he longs to have close relationship with us. That He pursues us.
I had to move several times, learned to adapt and start over and to trust God with all my heart. Its easier if the move was my choice. Its harder to move to follow where your husband wants to go. I can now understand people that have to adjust to different social status, different work, different church , different language, different culture. I can understand people that have to go through these changes and I can relate to the loss they experienced. Growing up in a communist country and now living in a democratic country helped me to understand how it feels to be persecuted for your faith, I appreciate the freedom more, than people that had it all the time. I understand how people in an atheist society think. I know how it feels to be spy-ed on and listened to all your phone conversations, all your letters are read by secret agents…how you can not be safe at work because some of your co-workers and friends work for the secret police and may turn you in if you say the wrong thing. I know how it feels to be beaten and made fun of because for being a Christian and still finding way to share the Gospel. I also experienced that the body of Christ looks out for each other and denominational barriers come down when there is a common thread of persecution.
I have lost close friends and loved ones through sudden death and through illness, I also had a miscarriage. The experience of loss in my own life helped me to understand other that are experiencing loss.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. I would do more mission work or international aid work, It was my dream to be a Pediatrician , but I was not allowed to study in East Germany and now here in Canada my nursing background does not count for anything either.
4. I would start an orphanage in Africa or south America and just love the kids and I also would open a center as part of the church that houses seniors, single moms, Teenagers with no home, people trying to come off addictions. …and create a God center where people help each other and care for each other like in a big family and where people get transformed by God’s love.
5. Life I would build a healing center for people to recover from trauma, where counselling and spiritual guidance and prayer ministry is available in a beautiful setting where people can go for walks and bike rides, horseback riding, programs for men women, kids and families available, it would have a pool and hot tub, gym, running room and more, massage therapy and physiotherapy available as well as sessions that teach live skill.
