S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Glenn Harlow for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My heart is toward lifting people up and making them understand just how much they mean to God and to others. I encourage because people have encouraged me through my life and I know how that has impacted me.
[H]eart
1. I love being with my wife, my children and my grandchildren. I understand what it is like to not have a positive male role model in my life and I feel it is so important for me to be that for my whole family
2. My heart beats to be with my friends. Both believers and non believers. I recognize God has put many people in my life for my encouragement as well as me being able to encourage them
3. My heart beats to be as close to God as I can. Traveling 100% of the time for my family, I have lots of time to myself. I find myself spending my days and evenings talking with God. It allows me to lift my burdens and concerns to him and I really feels it allows me to have a personal relationship with God have so much time to myself.
I have a burden for men who are unemployed or underemployed. it is such a difficult time for a man.
Praise and Worship though the music ministry is exciting to me. I also feel spending time with people in the church is so important and I have a concern that the church today does not find that important. I hear lots of talk about small groups and having that close contact but I see little or no response for the church members to encourage that. I’ve found it very frustrating when I see others or myself reaching to develop relationships with the body of believers, but don’t see willingness on their part to reach out or accept people.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
