Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I became a member of Christ’s family when I was about 10 years old. I was fortunate to grow up in an intact Christian family who loved the Lord and bore witness to that in their lives. I made a personal commitment to Christ through the leadership of my parents.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

FBC St. Charles MO: Deacons (incl Deacon Chair), Finance Cmte, Pastor Search Cmte, Teacher (HS Boys, Median Adults), Church Orchestra. We attended there 10 years.

St. Paul UMC (Ponca City OK): Church Bldg Cmte, Administrative Board (incl. Chmn). Usher, Finance Cmte (we attended there 10 years)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

The adoption of our daughter and the adoption process.

Mission trip to Jamaica.

Teaching Principle-Centered Leadership in a corporate setting.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Conflicts within the church and watching how many times Christians eat their own.

Marital issues in our family.

Health issues in our family.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Be effective at bringing the unchurched and those standing in greatest opposition to Christ to a saving understanding.

4. Helping others annonymously and in such a way that they understand it was a “God thing”.

5. Turn our country’s face back to God and have our country stand as an example to all of the power of God.
