[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Talking to others about the Lord

2. Talking to others about my life experiences and how God brought me through them

3. Helping others

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Older people, women that have been in abusive relationships, those that have been in relationships with alcoholics, Teen mothers, and kids.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I have a major concern for churches that have a select few that are allowed to do everything in the church and not allow others to step up and use their gifts. I’m not big on clicks, I believe that church is a close net family and the utmost concern for one another over themselves.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was in my early teens and attended church and bible study with my grandmother. I wanted a Lord and Savior like the one I learned about. I wanted to secure my seat in heaven and live my life for Christ. I talked to my grandmother about how I felt. She and I joined church and was baptised together.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

God has made things possible in my life that I never thought he would or could. Him opening doors for me has showed taught me a big lesson on, “faith, trust and belief.” This was the defining moment that turned my faith in a more positive direction.

This may seem strange but me breaking my knee was a positive experience. My reasoning behind it was that it shut everything down for me and gave me time to think and search my life entirely. I learned that I loved the Lord, and did what many Christians thought was enough BUT still wasn’t doing everything expected of me. I learned during this process that I had moved away from the Christ-centered life I was in prior to my career taking off. I was career-driven and family-oriented which was taking up ALL my time. To make a long story short me breaking my knee brought me close to God even stronger than before and so many doors were opened for me.

My husband stopped drinking.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I was married to an alcoholic that almost destroyed my family and marriage.

I lost my mother unexpectedly in 2013, my grandmother from a stroke in 2014, my sister from her 3-year battle with cancer 2015.

I broke my knee in 2018, couldn’t work, had multiple surgeries and still have been struggling with healing from the injury.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. To run a women’s ministry to help women that have faced struggles I have gone through.

4. Open up a facility for women with children that are trying to get out of a bad situation

5. Traveling and telling my testimony to other women in similar situations that I have gone through.
