Pastoring is a gift, not a role – but in my case it is both. I am pastoring out China field staff, and have worked as a church pastor, and led many home groups.

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Producing videos that demonstrate Gods Heart of compassion and mercy to those suffering injustice, pain, rejection etc

2. Preaching, sharing, encouaging people to grow in their understanding and faith

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Grew up in a strong Christian family, accepted Jesus as my Saviour in my early teens, baptised at 15. In my mid 20″s I experienced Charismatic renewal, that’s really when my faith moved from my head to my heart.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Warrandyte Community Church, Melbourne 1996 -2000 (approx) Worship Leader, Youth work, Associate Pastor (98-2000).

Wycliffe Bible Translators Australia -1996-2003. Media Director. Communications Team leader. Consultant WBT International. 2819 On Screen Productions – film production and communicating Mission needs and opportunities to churches. 2003-2012. ICC Team Life Co-ordinator in China 2012-2015. Pastoral Care Director 2015-Current

Kalamunda Church of Christ. 1975- 2020 ( Member during that period but living elsewhere as a Missions Partner from 96-2015) Elder, Preaching. Missions Committee, Worship Leader.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Multiple Mission Trips. Especially first one to India in 1985.

Migrating to Australia. Especially as it demonstrated God’s hand on my life.

Leaving the film industry and embarking on a trust journey.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Tragic death of a nephew and walking with my brother through that time.

Financial difficulties through GFC 87/88 that led to closing our business and selling our properties. (But eventually led to a freedom to follow God’s call)

Church conflict.
