S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Hayley Johnson for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (53%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love hosting and having a place where people feel safe and comfortable coming and sharing their lives.

2. I enjoy helping others find confidence and to trust that God made them who they are and to walk confidently in that.

3. I love to sing and worship God in song. Music speaks strongly to my soul and I find myself lost in His presence and my surroundings fading when I give myself to Him in praise and worship.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love working with teenagers the most (15-19). I tend to work better with a more dominate personality that will take the lead and that I can assist.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I’m excited to see personal growth in church, (people’s response, posture, and excitement toward Christ). I love the teen and young adult ministries.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I’ve always felt a nearness to Christ for as long as I can remember. The actual point of when I asked Him into my life was at 10 years old when I saw an Easter play about the crucifixion of Christ. I knew in a moment that I wanted Him to be the most important part of my life.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Worship Team-Christ Community Church Brazil, IN 6 yrs.

Worship Team-McKinley Hill Church Brazil, IN 5 yrs. ?

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

The unconditional love of my parents

Always being surrounded by godly christian examples

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Always being put down after someone gave me a compliment.

Going through a series of broken relationships that were based on wether or not I would compromise my values and hurting my self-esteem

Watching a brother struggle with life choices
