S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Joshua Hammer for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have a sensitive spot and I understand that forgiving is an essential piece on moving forward in community with another person even if they have wronged or hurt you. Being the bigger person is important to building a positive environment for yourself and the other person.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have personal stories that I have learned it is okay to share out at time in a personal/confidential space. My stories can inspire others and motivate other folks to become faith fulfilled people who act from their heart. I can speak to the soul no matter who & where the person is on their faith journey. At times can be challenging but if I’m in the right environment my sharing can usually relate to someone who’s facing obstacles and challenges in their daily life.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
This gift that I had comes from where I have come from. I have had a difficult childhood in many ways dealing with split parents and much more, and it has taught me to build people up and no build folks down. I try to be very positive and enthusiastic because bringing people together and sharing my passion potentially can make someone feel good and can help someone step out of their comfort zone and hopefully can use their gift and share it out to others. I have always tried to be encouraging because I know from experience that being a friend and being attentive to a person can be what it takes to make someone feel at home.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
After my Grandma passed away on my moms side I started to pray on my own because she was an inspiring figure in my life and she used to pray with me when I was younger so I always try to carry her spirit close to my heart by doing what she probably would have wanted me to do. Also I have had life changing moments in high school through family things and when I was extremely ill my freshman year of college…I lost my faith but had an event that reshaped my faith and has helped transform my view of faith.
