Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in church, always was serving, always helping out – even still I had a rough childhood, lived in a bad neighbourhood where some bad things happened to me. Was always looking for someone to love me. When I was 19 I was at the end of myself, I was eating once a week (lost 50lbs), didnt speak to anyone for months at a time, I spent the majority of my day sleeping, i failed all my courses, life was not good – and i decided that I needed to not spent the rest of my time like that. So I went to church that sunday – i had already been the previous year but hadnt really joined and from that sunday on I havent left. The overwellming love of God was so present and I continuted to feel it all around me and I have never wanted to be without it again.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Templo de Alabanza y Adoracion – Grandparents & parents church – Winnipeg – there from birth till 13years old

La Hermosa – Uncles church – Kitchener – there from 13years old till 18

myChurch – Ottawa – 19 years old till present

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I was a sunday school teacher in both of my past church – love working with kids

I was also worked with the finances of my last church – did offering, payroll, taxes and paid the bills – so I learned a lot about being good with my money

I was always at church so I learned the heart of serving very early on.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I was sexually abused by a family member from 4-7 years old – I began to believe that people could only love me for my body – I had a hard time accepting me for me, I was always trying to either put on weight so people would ignore me or lose weight so people would notice me. I strongly feel compassion for young girls who feel lost and alone – I don’t want them to grow up thinking they are worthless like I did.

My dad was very mentally and physically abusive. Always talked down to me, called me names, or gave me the silent treatment and was always hitting me. Again this brought up my lack of self-worth and still affects my relationship with my dad now. I regualrily check up on my siblings and am strongly affected anytime I hear a story of abuse.

My parents had me as teenagers so I grew up with the stigma of being unwanted and a mistake. that also affected how I view myself. That’s why I want to help teen moms, to make sure they dont raise their kids feeling that way, and to also help them and give them the support they need to take good care of their babies.
