#1 Gift, Giving (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
God has provided for me my whole life and prospered myself and members of my family. I have experienced God’s blessings in tithing & giving. When I have blessed, given encouragement and help others I truly feel the strong presence of God alive and moving in His power. I get excited to see what God will do next.

#2 Gift, Evangelism (71%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy telling others about the miracles in my life and also what he has done in the lives of others. I am energized by people who have faith . I love to have opportunities to share my testimony of receiving Christ to those who ask. I am not bold but kind of shy in this way , as I do not want to seem pushy and turn people off. Although if I feel that God is asking me to share I am unable to hold back. Once I start talking, its sometimes hard to get me to stop.

#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (68%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy encouraging people who are sad, lonely, feel unloved, lost, I enjoy encouraging other Women to seek God as their strength esp. encouraging single Mom’s as I know what that is like ( I brought up my son alone. )

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Hard to put it briefly . After a terrible sad break-up I basically challenged God to show himself to me and He did and then I was forever changed.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Member of worship team @ 2 different churches in Massachusetts total about 8 years ( I can give names if you want) , also here in Hawaii New Hope Puna 2002- 2005, Open Arms 2005-2006, Living Waters 2009 or 2010 – not sure when I left? Glad Tidings Hilo- children’s church – a few months

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

When I was about 10 years old I told my mother I didn’t like my skinny boney knees/legs. Instead of telling me that I had beautiful legs, she told to be grateful that I had legs and to think of the man with no legs… This really did make me thankful for the simple things in life and to not feel sorry for myself. it helped me to think of those less fortunate than myself & to see priorities.

** This one, by far, has had the most impact on my life: becoming a (single) mother. It helped me to become a more loving person and gave me a purpose and strength that I didn’t otherwise have.

Moving to Hawaii , experiencing the Love and Aloha that exist here but also realizing how important my family are back on the mainland.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Having to care for my son by myself without a partner and with minimal family support.

Living with Alcoholism in several past and present relationships.

Moving very hastily to Hawaii , leaving my son & family to seek adventure.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. To join a group of Holy Spirit -filled people to sing, praise, play music to touch people all over the world.

4. To join my husband in a healing ministry and see God use him to help others.

5. To secure salvation for all my loved ones and have peace on Earth
