This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am well organized and have a mind that understands process and procedure. I am able to keep a team running in the right direction because of the organization, delegation and listening skills that I possess. I organize my team to each individual strength and I assist where the team is weak with the goal to strengthen them in those areas.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I believe that encouragement goes a long way in mentoring. If you want those that follow you to continue to grow in their calling, encouragement and exhortation is a key piece. It brings me joy to see someone who is struggling be lifted up, thus turning around their attitude, performance or any other area of life that was struggling.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I give freely of my time and resources to ensure that people have what they need to be successful in their positions. I give freely to those around me that I do not lead, when I see a need fulfilled. My love language is also giving gifts because of the pure joy it brings people.

1. Learning to fight systematic racism within the culture around me to bring racial justice to the minority groups that need it.

2. Finding ways to implement change in the local church so that the church can be an effective advocate against racism, and for social justice and criminal justice reform.

3. Mentoring and leading the current generation through their goals, ambitions and marriages to see success and growth in all areas of their lives. I get emotional and full of joy when I see restoration and growth in individuals/couples.

Through my years of experience in the professional world, I have learned to work with all age groups and types of people. I enjoy different groups of people for what they bring to the table. The older generation for the wisdom they can impart on me, a young leader. The younger generation to make an impact on and pass down the wisdom given to me.

The church is at a crossroads in today’s culture between making an impact and becoming irrelevant. I am excited about the impact that the church potentially can make on culture (and is making in some areas) but I am concerned that if the Church does not make some necessary changes (nothing in compromise of the Gospel) we are in danger of becoming irrelevant and ineffective. One of the things that excites me most about Hillsong is the commitment to cultural impact and being a part of the culture instead of counter cultural which allows them unique opportunities to continue to minister to today’s generation.

I currently work as a Provider Operations Manager at Beacon Health Options, a managed care company.

Leadership and Mentoring is what I studied and continue to study after undergraduate school and what I have been told my leaders in my life that i have a gift in. Also, seeing opportunities for change that will positively impact the overall goals of an organization and implementing change and managing conflict through the change process.

I have taught a sermon series during a youth camp on the parable of the four soils. I have also taught a series on God’s Grace during weekly youth meetings. I have lead numerous small groups through various biblical studies as well.

The way I can connect with people. No matter the person, I can find common ground that we can connect on. I love people, and I love loving people. Love is powerful and can go such a long way in changing lives.

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

I grew up in a Christian home always going to church. When I was a teenager, I fell away from God and tried to live a double life where I still went to church on Sundays but lived a different life during the week. Through mentoring, leadership and accountability, I turned my life around and recommitted my life to God in my later teenage years.

Deciding to seek accountability in my older teenage years to break addiction and change who I am as a person.

Marrying my wife and learning and growing from her wisdom as we learned to become one in our early years of marriage. Continuing to learn and grow from each other on a daily basis.

Deciding to re-enroll in undergraduate school and earn my Bachelors in Ministry Leadership to support what I feel my calling is (Organizational Ministry).

Being addicted to pornography – I have compassion for anyone stuck in this addiction, wanting to help them be rescued from it as I was by providing accountability and mentoring to them.

Going through a rough church break up – I have compassion for those that are escaping abuse of any kind from the church and I have a renewed vision to make the church a safer place for all.

Living my early life without proper boundaries (in friendships and family relationships). I allowed others to kinda walk on me. I have compassion for those that feel stuck in these types of relationships and want to help them build healthy boundaries, that does not alienate anyone but instead makes the relationship healthier.
