Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was adopted into a Christian family. I never really learned properly how to live a godly lifestyle so I lived still in my sinful nature. Eventually, God called me while angry and bitter to a specific church where I truly began to understand God’s purpose for me and how to live according to scripture

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Praise Team at South Peoria Baptist Church (4-5 years), Children’s welcome desk, follow up team, (about 2 years at South Peoria Baptist Church)

Evangelism at Harvest America (1 day)

Owner/stylist of Studio 316 salon
4 months speaking regularly about others need for Christ. This salon was opened specifically to serve God and not for me.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Adoption into a Christian family

Being allowed to fail so I could see how desperate I was to have a Savior and being able to use teachable moment from those experiences to teach my children

Opening Studio 316 to serve God. I have to live according to scripture based off of the very name of the salon. It comes with a high calling of obedience to not live like the world but to be different. Otherwise, people would see me and the business as a fraud

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Abuse, yet I show love to my children

Becoming the prodigal daughter but came back when I realized that was the wrong direction

My first divorce. It taught me to forgive, patience, and what to do and not to do in my current marriage

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Drawing closer to God everyday first above all else

4. Loving my family to Christ

5. Love others to Christ. To Harvest. To speak publicly in large group settings
