S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you HPG for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Saved at 7 at Kids Camp. Baptized in Holy Spirit at 13 at Central A/G. Went through a bunch of garbage in teen years. At 19 I developed a personal relationship with Christ on my own. Plenty of ups and downs because that is life. After mom died I got back into church on the regular.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Youth Staff, Weatherly A/G

Worship Team, Central A/G
Worship Team, Weatherly A/G

Graphics, Set designs, All the creative stuff

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Baptism in Holy Spirit

Learning more about God in Sunday School and in Discipleship

Worship – and a mom who served as a Worship Leader as well.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

People are mean. Being a Christian does NOT mean that people behave right.

Alcoholism in my family and the effects of that.

Mental illness and a father who was abusive and selfish.

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Faithfully serve on worship team.

4. Learn more about prophecy, discernment, and deeper spiritual growth.

5. Lead in some sort of capacity. Art workshop or Bible lesson or small group.
