Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
Grew up in a Christian home going to church on Sundays but never understood the gospel, never had a relationship with Christ. I came to nursing school and some women started intentionally loving on me, wanting to get to know me, inviting me to bible study. I began going sporadically to bible study and church, and God used church retreats and the lives of these women- who obviously had ‘something’ that I didn’t- to help me see my need and desire for a relationship with him. I realized that ‘something’ was Jesus. And over time realized that the joy, purpose, acceptance, peace, love that I was looking for in worldly things I could have in Christ. Now I am a new creation… seeking to know God more daily and make him known.

My first job as a nurse after graduating school. I had no desire to work as a nurse, but learning to find my true and deepest satisfaction in Christ and not in my work had in turn helped me to be deeply satisfied in my job as I use it to worship God and serve him through serving others.
Living in Cusco, Peru- where nothing was ever comfortable or easy. But where life was so joyful. Because I had to learn true moment-by-moment dependence on God. And where I learned to praise him for so many small details of my life, and small gifts that I would normally take for granted. Because in Cusco nothing was ever a guarantee.
Marriage to my husband Brooks- understanding in a deeper way how much God delights in me as I see that mirrored slightly in the way my husband delights in me. And sweet to feel the freedom to be myself before another person and still be completely loved and accepted… just as I am before Christ.
Struggling with anorexia before leaving for Peru and then even more seriously as I came off the field.
Struggling with depression when coming off the field in Peru, having suicidal ideations. But in this time I have never felt nearer to God and never felt so dependent on his Word. I understand in such a deeper way now how life-giving and powerful his Word is.
