Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was baptized for the first time at age 13. I went to church because it was expected. I never really learned about God or growing my faith. I was in two abusive marriages. I didn’t feel like I deserved to be loved by God. I started coming to the river in 6/2015. I reconfirmed my life to Christ and was spontaneously baptized on 1/29/2017. I finally found somewhere I could grow and had people to love me for me. FYI: this is the cliff note version

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

The river: kids kreek, the big give, mammapalooza, night to shine, invest one, life group child care, 12000 reasons prayer team

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My family is very loving and always supported me

I have had Christ loving friends help me grow

My kids are amazing

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My extended family was very judgmental regarding how my parents raised us. My grandpa was a Pentecostal preacher and I was basically an outcast because I had short hair and wore pants

I have been married twice. My kids dad was physically and emotionally abusive to me. My second husband was physically, emotionally and sexually abusive to me. He was emotionally abusive to my kids.

My best friend passed away 4 years ago from cancer. She was 39.
