S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Hezron Obuchele for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Giving (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
God has taken me from grass to grace and blessed me beyond any words.

I have always deeply believed that His extreme favor has been bestowed upon me so that He can use me as an instrument to bless others & praise Him. So I give to others, whether they deserve it or not, trying to match His undeserved favor as much as I humanly can.

#2 Gift, Administration (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
There is a lot more strength in numbers than individually.

Through effective leadership & coordination of people to bring out their strengths to complement each other, I can help people to focus on being great at the areas they’re blessed in rather than struggling to be what they may not be good at resulting in them being unfulfilled in their tasks and life.

I also believe that on my own there’s very little I can do to effect any meaningful change in this world, and so the most effective way to positively impact the world in a sustainable way is through others by equipping them to do so in their areas of life or purpose.

#3 Gift, Mercy Showing (62%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
The world has so much suffering, and it’s so easy for anyone to give up hope every single day. A little mercy can turn a desperate moment back into hope and then faith.

I believe whatever hope I can give someone through a little bit of mercy can make this world a bit more bearable for them, and as they continue on may eventually realize God’s amazing purpose for them in this world.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was born into a Christian family. I however really started identifying as one by choice after high school. As I was waiting to go to university I found a church that made me feel one with a community and the Lord.

Their vibrance & enthusiasm in walking the journey of Christianity and their welcoming nature made it easy for me to find meaning & purpose in Christ while getting support from other like minded believers I could relate to & talk with about my journey.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Getting a sponsor through primary school after my dad became sick & passed away

Getting an opportunity to travel to Rwanda after high school

Getting to join the Mozilla community, travel the world and show me just how much I have to offer to those I interact with

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Losing my father

Seeing my mum break into tears & lose hope after realizing she’s a sole parent with more children to raise than she’s financially able to

Losing my & my family’s life savings to a con investor
