Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was saved on Easter Sunday, 1994 at a small Pentecostal church in Rome, GA named Silver Creek Church of God. I was 9 years old. It was a very special moment, for me because I loved Jesus so much, and as I was being led in prayer by the lead Pastor (Brother Williams), a bright ray of sunlight came through the stained-glass windows right over my head and back – this was very significant to me because it had been raining outside that morning. I lost my faith when I was 16 and my life literally fell apart for the next 10 years. I finally woke up after I had a devastating relationship with someone who was very destructive. I began following Jesus without realizing it about 7 years ago, but it wasn’t until November 7, 2018, that I re-committed my life to Jesus. After I prayed to Him and decided that it was Jesus that had been guiding me all those years, God sent a double-rainbow to show me that he had forgiven me.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I always admired motivational speakers when they would come to speak to us in middle school. When I was in the 7th grade, we had a motivational speaker come, and I was so enthralled with his story, that I kept asking him very personal questions in front of the entire school. My teachers thought this was very rude and they pulled me out of the assembly. The next day, one of my teachers (Mrs. Little) pulled me out of class and asked me to write a 5-7 minute speech and deliver it the next night for a public speaking competition. I was very excited that she asked me to do it! I went home, wrote the speech, and delivered it the next night. I was so nervous because there were around 10 others kids there. I won 1st place and went to the district level, and came in 2nd – it was televised. The other teachers wanted to hear me speak, so I delivered my speech in front of the entire school. Then, I got invited to speak at the Coosa Country Club, Berry College, and others places. I went on to compete in several other public speaking competitions in middle school – winning first place most often, appearing on the local news. Then, as I entered high school, I joined FBLA and competed all 4 years in public speaking – receiving state and national recognitions for public speaking. When I became a life coach, it was all too fitting because I felt that God that been prepping me for this role all my life.

I have always loved acting. I participated in the one-act play of my high school for all 4 years. My senior year, I received the role as Kate the Shrew and we had such a great cast that year. We went to perform at the district level. They only award 1 Best Actor and Best Actress award. I received the award for Best Actress out of 9,000 actresses.

I was a mentor all throughout middle school and high school. One of the best parts of being a school mentor was watching two or more students who couldn’t get along, walk down the hallway smiling and laughing together after we all sat down to talk about the problem and they figured out a solution together.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My brother’s suicide – It has helped me to have tremendous compassion for the loved one’s of a suicide. It has also helped fuel a desire in me to help those who are lost by telling them about Jesus.

My sister going to prison and her lifestyle choices – Has helped me to have compassion again for people who are lost and this is why it is imperative for me to share the restoring power of Jesus.

Having a destructive affair – This has helped me understand the value of setting boundaries in relationships and having core relational values in Christ throughout a marriage.
