#1 Gift, Administration (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have a sense of accomplishment when tasks are done well and completed on time. I enjoy being able to delegate tasks to proper individuals and overseeing their progress. I thrive on developing ideas and seeing them come to life.

#2 Gift, Teaching (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
This is of no surprise to me. I currently am a public school substitute teacher. I thoroughly enjoy knowing that I am instilling truth and knowledge to others. That I am giving and showing them a part of me that will leave a lasting impact on them. I love knowing that I am leaving them with knowledge/wisdom that will help them discover something they didn’t know they were capable of, that will help them mature and grow into the person they were meant to become.

#3 Gift, Prophecy (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Since I can remember, God has spoken to me in dreams/visions. I have been exposed to numerous occasions where carnal things were going on within the church, behind closed doors, and God revealed to me what was happening before it was exposed. God has also revealed to me when a person is under attack/controlled/struggling with sinful nature, bondage, sadness, etc., and used me on many occasion to speak/pray to these individuals about these areas so that they may be set free.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Music – My number one passion is music. I have always felt I was called to music ministry, which I have been involved with most of my life. It is where God is most revealed to me and where God is mostly revealed to others through me. I believe that I am called to be a praise and worship leader. When or how that will come to be I do not know, but it is my biggest desire.

2. Dancing – Dancing would be my number two passion. I don’t think it is a coincidence that it involves my number one passion. I have been in dancing for years from cheerleading – worship dance team – ballet/jazz/hip-hop – collegiate ballroom dancing – choreographing /teaching worship dance with children. It is amazing how you can express yourself or your love for God by simply moving your body. The impact it can leave on others or yourself is quite breathtaking.

3. Nature – I have always been in love with the outdoors. I use to be involved with the FFA and loved being apart of our forestry/land judging team. Some of my most peaceful memories are simply being by myself in the forest and just taking in all the amazing/beautiful things God created. All the sights and sounds are just mesmerizing. There is a sense of tranquility and adventure when you’re in out in open nature. I enjoy being with groups of people hiking, exploring and being a part of what nature has to offer.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I have always most enjoyed working with the youth. I love being able to help give insight into the Bible and how it relates to their lives. Leading them to a relationship with Christ and mature in their faith. I love being able to use my own life tragedies and revelation to relate with them and help them to overcome their own tragedies and discover their own revelations.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Negatives
Church Issues – not relaying truth because of fear of losing members or hurting people’s feelings, not making changes because of fear of losing members
Ministry Needs – staff, workers, money
Positives
Ministries – worship, youth, women, children

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I became a Christian at the age of approximately six. I remember my mom and I were in the car, and I told my mom I wanted to ask Jesus in my heart. I loved the Lord, and I wanted to go to Heaven. She pulled over the car, and right there on the side of the road, Jesus became my Savior. Just as most people do, through my early years I had my episodes of backsliding. However, one night as a teenage/young adult, God revealed to me in a dream that I was standing on the edge of my salvation. I woke up from that moment changed.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

First Baptist Church of Shinnston (Shinnston, WV) – served in youth ministry on site and at youth camp, was Wednesday night Children’s Church Co-Leader, worship dance team

Adrian MI
*Redemption Outreach Center (Adrian, MI) – pastoral staff, children’s church, praise team, youth group, jr. high, children’s dance team leader (2 years)
*Cornerstone Community Church – part of the church plant, children’s ministry, praise team (3 years)

Christian Women’s Club (Stonecroft Ministries) – vice chair over the Fairmont chapter, bible study leader

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Becoming a mother – this showed me how to set aside some of my own selfish desires to put the needs, wants, and desires of my son in front of my own. It’s given me a deeper understanding of the love God has for us, for letting his Son die for us. Every time I think of what if I was in that position, I can truly say I couldn’t do it. What a sacrifice God/Jesus gave for us.

My son being born of a Trisomy 18 disorder – We were told that my son was going to be born with this disorder and if he survived through pregnancy he wouldn’t survive past 1 year old. We were sent to a high-risk pregnancy doctor who told us we should abort our child. We declined and told him he would be born symptom-free and that even if he wasn’t we would love him while we had him. We prayed and prayed and stood firm on our faith. They even tried to get us to amniotic testing and then decide, but we refused because it didn’t matter either way – but we were believing he was healed and whole. Well, 7 years later our child is alive and amazingly intelligent. He loves the Lord and has a desire to praise the King. This taught me how to stand on Faith and not believe the lies of Satan.

Marriage – God led me to an amazing man that has stood with me through some rough circumstances. No matter how hard it was, he continued to trust in God and lead me. He has shown me how someone can have such determination and faith to continue to do what God has called them to do and to never give up. He is an amazing example to myself and my son.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Sexual/Physical Abuse – Going through these experiences gave me a voice and a testimony to share with others. I am a strong-willed individual that is not easily swayed by the opinions of others. I am able to share this experience with others who have been hurt by similar circumstances. I can relate to their sense of powerlessness, hurt, betrayal. I understand the fear and resentment that comes from being a victim. However, they can be set free because Jesus is bigger than all of that. By sharing my walk through this to where I am now, I am able to show them that there is hope instead of hopelessness and joy instead of pain.

Car Accident – Ten years ago, I was in a car accident and broke my neck and sustained substantial brain damage. I was just married for three weeks, and my whole life fell apart. In a matter of seconds, I went from a person who was strong/independent into a person that was broken/dependent. I could do nothing by myself. My husband had to feed, bath, and dress me. I was bedridden for a very long time. Due to brain injury and PTSD, I turned into a violent, depressed, self-harming individual. My husband stood by me through the whole experience. There were years of medicine, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, mental therapy, financial struggles. However, through faith and love, we conquered and overcame. This has given me a passion to help other couples who are struggling, showing them that it can work, that it may be difficult or feel pointless, but with God, love, and stubbornness to fight for their marriage, they can succeed and mend what Satan was trying to destroy.

Adultery/Deceit from church pastors – We have over the last 6 or so years, been involved in two churches whose pastors committed adultery. In both circumstances, the Pastors stayed in the pulpit and were not held responsible for their actions. There was many lies and much deceit that was fed from the pulpit, nor was there any true remorse for their actions. This created caused my spiritual welfare such exhaustion. Yes, I know they were both men, but they were in a position of leadership. They betrayed their position and their flocks, creating discord. It took a while, to move on from those situations. There was a lot of hurt, betrayal, broken trust, and anger. However, it has helped me to be understanding with brothers and sisters who have experienced a “let down” from a person of authority in their life. I can share with them God’s love and how he did not let them down, but it was a “man”. I can help remind them that the person was human and gave in to their own desire and not that of Christ. Furthermore, I can help them realize that forgiveness is key and that even though they betrayed their trust, there is freedom in forgiveness. Christ forgave us even though we are unworthy. Lastly, I could hopefully encourage them to not give up on God and to continue on because He will never let them down, but will always lift them up.
