My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

My youth soccer coach kept inviting me to church and after about a year, when I was 17 I went because my friends did. It was their I saw joy and heard testimonies that challenged my life and exposed the void I was carrying. With my pastor and his wife we prayed and I said yes to following Jesus.

Missionary Athletes International (lady eagles soccer player and then ministry Director and GM) 2009-16

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being trained as a leader and coach at Christian soccer camps

Traveling to Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Tanzania, Brazil, Colombia and Kenya to experience and learn from believers all over the world

Discipleship from older women over the years

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Growing up with parents who were not believers doing life in community and in a church.

Verbal abuse from my father and sexual abuse from a neighbor as a kid.

Identity found very intensely in who I was as a soccer player and being performance driven.
