This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
From a simple desire to express God’s love and saving grace for me and others through music, word or deed.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy learning and experiencing the Word of God, life, new things, and teaching and growing with those open to hear. Whether it’s manifested through music, what I say or do, I leave that up to God.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Probably because of continually trying to see situations from God’s perspective and growing in faith of God’s faithfulness to His people. Also having a heart for people, being a sinner saved by grace. I will learn more about prophecy to understand how my life according to the word of God can speak into, inspire or motivate others in the faith.
[H]eart
1. I enjoy jogging, walks and spending time with family and growing in God, life and health.
2. I love singing, writing, producing music, books, plays, poetry, etc.
3. I enjoy teaching music to my elementary school students.
I am open to where I can be of service and influence. Out of the heart of the pastor was expressed a need to aid in teaching and encouraging our youth and young adults. My desire has been inspired by that plea and also his support and commitment.
When on one accord with the vision of the pastor, having his support and guidance along with the ministry leader, I believe by faith God can do a great through us to advance His kingdom.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I accepted God into my life at an early age. I was baptized, confirmed, received communion and began to work in the church. I am a former Catholic. During my college years, I had a deepening desire to grow closer to God and understand deeper the commitment I had made. I formally accepted Jesus as my personal Savior and was baptized again at Greater St. Stephen F.G.B.C. My walk, growing, understanding of God and the Word as a Christian continues today.
Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church – New Orleans
St. Peter Claver School/Church – New Orleans
Divine Providence F. G. B.C. – New Orleans
Triedstone Full Gospel Baptist Church – Chicago
Our Mother of Mercy School/Church – Houston
St. Francis Xavier Church – Houston
St. Mary of the Angels Church – Houston
I married my wife, Robin and had children.
I graduated from Xavier University with a degree in music and became a music teacher.
I kept a listening ear to the heartbeat of God at each church I served under.
I had two strokes, December 19th of 2016 and March of 2018 and God graced me with healing from both. I could not swallow for six months, tubes in throat, growing and stomach at one time and could not walk a straight line to save my life, but God allowed us a new place to live, celebrating over 20 years of marriage and was able to live on see my youngest son graduate from high school, with the activity of my limbs and my voice and my job back! But God…
My family and I lived in a hotel for eight years. The room I was going to school everyday to was bigger than the hotel room we were sleeping in at night, and this was after Hurricane Katrina when we lost everything, but God…
I was picked on as a child and bullied and ridiculed from childhood through adulthood. Constantly told what I was not able to do, going to be and shunned on the gifts in me and how God was using me at work in ministry and in music, I overcame the adversity, graduated, became a music teacher, own and registered my own intellectual property concerning music, manuscripts for books, plays, etc. I vowed that as long as life is within me, not one child or person if I could help it will feel the way that others made me feel.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. I desire to create wealth and an inheritance for my family. I would pray and be open to God speaking His will for ideas into me and seek good council.
4. Win or encourage as many souls for Christ as I can through my music, owning and funding visions I believe are in me, such as owning my own publishing company, starting a music school, making certain my son comes out of college debt free, etc. In fact, I am working on being a better tither
5. Help fund the vision God placed in pastor, ex. – buy the apartments adjacent to church or give the resources he believers he needs to inspire and motivate others to give.
