Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was born to a UM Pastor, Grew up in the church my whole life. I was very influenced by my Grandmother. I vividly remember in 6th grade giving my life to Christ at Awana Bible Club that I attended every Wednesday night.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Camp Coordinator/Youth Director BUMC 5 years

PPRC Chair BUMC 3 years

Administrative Board Chair BUMC 4 1/2 years
Annual Conference laity delegate 11 years

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Pastor Steve Bramlett & Pastor Mark Smith pulling me out of my comfort zone & into leadership with in the Bement UMC

God using me as a supporter & guidance as he brought my husband from not attending church at all (although he was a believer) to becoming a UMC Pastor himself.

Watching my grown children become parents themselves & knowing I raised them into the people they have become, both good & bad.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My ex-husband became a crack addict during our marriage. He was abusive to me & neglected our children. I stayed with him for 8 years. We lived in poverty.

I was best friends with my mother, She passed away 5 years ago after a 2 year battle with ovarian cancer. 6 months after my mother passed my oldest brother whom I was closest with & confided in passed away from Colon cancer. I still grieve greatly for them

It is very difficult for me, as my children grow & move out of state taking my grandchildren many miles away. I am learning to accept it better all the time.
