S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Jackson Ansley for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

When I was 6 yo I kept asking my parents about salvation and to accept Jesus in my heart, they spent that year asking me questions until I was able to fully understand.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I serve students at my school, Valor Global Online

teammates and players that I coach on the basketball court

TLC when I play basketball with the intellectually disabled on Wednesday mornings.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

We travel a lot as a family, so I meet new people and I get to see God’s creation

getting outdoors with friends and family to go hiking and see nature and God’s animals and creation

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My mom endured a medical accident so I am sensitive to that in my own life and with others going through trauma and pain

I was bullied in 1st and 2nd grade and this caused me to question my existentance
