Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I became a follower of Christ when I was 16, however, I didn’t truly learn what that meant until I got to college. When I was a freshman in college I got involved in the Baptist Student Ministry and that is where I learned what it meant to follow Jesus. I went on summer missions my first summer in college, during that summer I found out I wanted to work with kids. Also during that summer my father passed away. The months following that I distanced myself from God, but I ended up to do missions again. I now know I did it to escape. That summer I worked in Waco catering to low-income neighborhoods. That was also the summer I learned some disturbing news about my father. However, that did not make me question God. That next year I grew in my relationship with Jesus and was apart of the leadership team with the BSM. The fall of 2016 I went on a mission trip to South Africa and I worked as the education intern at a children’s home- that is where I learned I want to work with children in the foster care system or at risk. It is also where I discovered that I want to pursue Emotional and Behavior disturbances. My story goes on. Fast forward to fall of 2018 and God is calling me to make a new Church family and that is when I started at OneLife. It was a very hard decision, but one made with a lot of prayer.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Mission Arlington summer 2013 children’s ministry
World Hunger Relief farm- summer 2014- waco
Beach reach- spring break 2014 and 2015- South Padre
Christmas at Mision Arlington- Dec 2013-2017- Children’s/Christmas store/ apartment ministry
Restoring Hope village- South Africa- Aug-Dec 2016- Children’s home
Mission Arlington- summer 2018- Low income/homeless ministry- apartment ministry

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Learning God wants me to work with children

All the mission trips I went on

Seeing close friends come to know Jesus

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My parents divorcing, then finding out it was because my father sexually abused my sister.

Working with a Christian organization and having things not resolved in a biblical manner. It’s a long story and I’d love to share if you have time.

Experiencing crippling depression.
