S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Jaimee Matthews for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I was in church one day and just felt that something was missing. I decided right then and there to follow Christ.
Lifegate in Denton TX. I spent more than 10 years there. I worked with kids and was even the youth pastor for 6 months.
Denton Bible in Denton TX. I spent maybe a year there. I tried to get involved, but every time I would try and get in touch with someone to ask, they would never get back to me.
Valley Creek Church in Flower Mound TX and Denton TX. I spent maybe 3 years there. I worked with the information station to help answer any and all questions that people had. I would often meet any new people and help them figure out where they wanted to serve.
I meet Edward. I had always felt like a part of me was missing while I spent 30 years by myself. Everyone would always say it will happen when it should happen, but they didn’t feel the hopelessness/lose of missing a part of myself.
Changing schools several times. I feel that meeting so many new people helped me since I am mostly a loner.
My parents divorce. My parents got a divorce when I was very young. I have been able to talk to different students who are going through the same situations though.
My dad passing suddenly. I haven’t been able to talk to many people who have lost a parent/friend truly because it’s still so fresh for me I don’t like to dwell on his passing.

- Everyone Else After those
3. Helping the needy (food banks, shelters, etc.)
