S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Karen Noonan for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I’m not so sure that I am. I have not been born again and I still have a few afflictions that affect my everyday life. I just started attending Grace about 4 or so months ago. I want the feeling g of the holy spirit I side of me. I believe in the trinity but still have some much to learn and I WANT TO. I want my son to grow up learning about the joy that faith in Jesus can bring and to learn that you can forgive yourself for the sins we make at an early age. I am just learning to forgive myself and lost about 10 years of my life punishing myself for my poor choices. I would be farther along In life financially to take care of my son.
Our Lady of the Miraclulous Medal Catholic Church, Pine Island, Florida. Ages 6-12
Parents: Did the best they could to provide for the family along with teaching family values. The death of my mother impacted me the most. My Dad found a !etter that she had written sometime before she died and the one thing she wished that she had done more was to lead us to Jesus and live a life built upon faith.
Graduating college and becomming a teacher.
Acquiring a drug habit that cost my teaching job, my family for a few years, self esteem was/is gone, and loosing everything that money had bought me including a house that I had built. That negative experience is turning into a positive one because I have found God and have faith that this will be the past. Today is a new day for me and I can choose to make it positive and productive.
Got married to the wrong person who is not the father of my son. Together my son’s father and I live together unmarried raising him.
Losing my job, my house, cars, and other materialistic ” necessities” to function in society due to drug addiction.
Losing my mother, my best friend, and the best woman I know to cancer three years ago.
