S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Janet Mankenberg for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

[H]eart
1. Ministering to couples struggling in their marriages, & weekend marriage retreats with the Art Of Marriage materials.. Hold small group studies, that discuss the deeper truths of scripture, with an emphasis on life application
2. Building relationships with fellow believers in the church, that come alongside each other for the building up of each others faith through prayer, sharing, scripture, etc
3. I enjoy being a team player, planner and visionary for the advancement of the kingdom.
I have a heart for all ages. I find the preschool years challenging now because of my energy level. I feel most equipped to lead Women’s ministries as I have a 2 year specialist certificate from the BGC.
I find these questions challenging to answer because I do not like to speak of myself. Tests like this are too much about me. But I press on…. The Lord has equipped me to step into many wide ranging situations. What excites me most is being in the center of His will, when you readily see His hand in a given situation. I have been told I am blessed with the gift of discernment. I tend to observe, listen, evaluate, and then speak, hopefully as the Lord leads. Things that concern me? I have a sense that there is healing that needs to take place both within the church and the community. People may need to be taught Forgiveness & Peacemaking, and with help brought to it. It is difficult to minister in a community that resents each other. There was a very divisive incident within the community a couple of years ago. What excites me? Besides the activities we have already discussed with CE, Nativities, Christmas programs, small groups, outreach and the like, I would be most excited for the breaking down of the stronghold of “tradition”. To explain, and I expect that this is confidential, …better yet, I ask that you call me.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am He, I am He who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
Isaiah 46:4 NIV This is my life verse. From the time of being very small, God has been with me. I cannot remember a time I did not believe in Him. I can recall times I have strayed. Thankfully God’s grace is boundless, and my salvation is not built upon my works and actions, but on His most precious and gracious gift. Eph 2:8-For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
Most of my ministry experience (22+yrs) was at the First Baptist Church of Cokato, Mn.
My extraordinary meeting, marriage and life with my husband Kel.
The large mountain top ways God has led the major decisions of my life, from car crash, to home sales during a market crash, to almost losing my husband, and child, to having a daughter that had a teen pregnancy etc…. It has not been dull.
The mentors that God has brought into our lives that continue to love on us still.
Person(s) who use a position of authority in the church without grace, and for their own purposes.
Son in-law had and continues to have an affair, and all the ramifications to our daughter and grandchildren.
I have a sister, who at the age of 8, that while I was babysitting my 5 siblings, was molested.
