S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you John Ballenger for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Evangelism (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I like to teach to others that may have been misguided, unsure, or never thought of certain topics. I like to use teaching for understanding and encouragement.

#2 Gift, Teaching (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am responsible, have high integrity, love the overseer position. I like to be apart of everything I can handle, and sometimes a little more. My favorite place to be is in charge. I don’t mind learning something new so I may be able to have administration over it. I trust myself enough to be given almost any task/person and do what I can to help them.

#3 Gift, Administration (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I don’t want to walk this world knowing I have kept people from Christ, or hurt their faith. I want to study every aspect of the Bible, and understand how it applies to our lives, so that I may be prepared to answer any question, and know how to most effectively breach the heart of unbelievers, then bring Jesus into their heart.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Relationships with others who pursue God and more of Him.

2. People looking up to me, having high expectations of me, and knowing that they can rely on me.

3. Knowing I am giving something my all regardless of the outcome.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Brothers in Christ, around my age and older. People who are strong-willed, and put respect and trust into me as well as me for them.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I am excited for evangelistic movement, but also concerned for government suppression over the church. I love the idea of healing, revival, spiritual connection, and miracles. I dislike a dying church, and a church being unable to carry out the truth of God, conforming to society, and hurting/corrupting those in the church and the church itself.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was born and raised Christian, I gave thought to giving my life for God and accepted it. I fell off the walk a bit, but always believed and fought for faith. Now I have given up more than ever to stay aligned to Christ.
