Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in the church and accepted Christ at a young age. He has always been part of my life, but my personal walk has definitely grown in depth and maturity even in recent years. My faith is becoming more of my own as I continue to work it out and live it out.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Elem3nt Church Blissfield – Worship Team, Adminstrative Board, Women’s Ministry, Small Group Leader, Youth Leader, Choir, Piano for worship, Children’s Teacher

New Hope Church (Ft. Wayne IN) – Choir, Piano for Worship

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being part of a local church body on a consistent basis throughout my life, serving in ministry and being ministered to.

Completing the Motherwise Bible study and continuing on in a young mothers group under the leadership of a mentoring mom.

A current in depth discipleship study I am doing one-on-one that is pushing me to truly live out my faith and deepen my walk with Christ.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

The routine challenges of marriage and parenting, although I wouldn’t call them negative experiences . They have definitely brought me closer to Christ and given me compassion for those who struggle in marriage and parenting. Living in Christ is key in both of these areas, and different from what the world says.

Church division and differences of opinions – going through some of these issues forced me to re-examine my person walk and to grow on my own spiritually with Christ rather than relying on a specific preacher, teacher or group to pull me along. This has been part of me owning my faith rather than just going through the motions.

Struggles with personal health, food and fitness. It is an area that has been a lifelong struggle and I have not yet found victory. I have great compassion for those that struggle in this area, and the journey to victory is the road I am on. God continues to travel with me as I strive for obedience to Him.
