Thank you Jenica McKenzie for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Evangelism (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love talking to people who don’t know Jesus about things of faith and perhaps shifting their view of Christianity a little bit. I get excited when I can defend my faith and break down faulty views of Christianity that people have. I love seeing the brokenness in a person and being able to speak into how Jesus can reach that and use it for his Kingdom through what he has accomplished on the Cross and what He is doing through His Holy Spirit today.

#2 Gift, Teaching (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love showing other people the truth found in the Scriptures and how specific passages can speak directly to what they are dealing with in their lives. I also love discussing passages that are commonly know and unpacking them to see that there is often more than first expected.

#3 Gift, Prophecy (59%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy speaking into peoples lives and praying with them and speaking the truth of Jesus into their specific situation and how God is working out his Kingdom purposes in them through their specific circumstances.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Grew up in a Christian home, parents shared the Gospel with me. I have really gotten to know Jesus throughout my 20’s as I have dealt with some various trials, and have felt disappointment in life that has only made his Kingdom shine brighter in my heart

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Kelowna Gospel Fellowship, Kelowna/BC, Sunday school teacher, 1 year

Mission Creek Alliance, Kelowna/BC, piano player, 1 year

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Spending a year studying at Columbia Bible College, meeting amazing people and learning so much about Gods Word

Finding amazing ladies who love Jesus and push me to submit to him more and more

Moving to Chilliwack, away from my hometown, and finding Jesus in the quiet and solitude of the COVID pandemic

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Loneliness as a young adult in university

Anxiety and depression plaguing me on a day to day basis

Performance anxiety during high school sports

4. Having a family and raising my kids to love Jesus, perhaps marrying a pastor or someone who loves the Word and talking about God, plugging into local church and discipling other women and teens
