S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Jennifer Albertini for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel that I was born to serve. Since I was very young I was enthusiastic about serving friends and family who visited our home. Later on, that shifted into ministry and even in the work that I chose.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have been working in an administration assistant role for most of my adult life. It is something that I understand well and am very comfortable with. I enjoy the satisfaction of completing tasks in order to achieve overall success.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have been told that this is a strength of mine, but I do not enjoy it, as I have never been verbally gifted. Also, the responsibility causes me great anxiety. However, I think that with guidance and training, I would be able to teach others more effectively.

1. I love to serve my family, near and far. Doing things for them that make their lives better has always brought me joy. I love to please others.
2. I enjoy being creative. Whether it be with cooking, creating new products for my Etsy store, or making photo books & collages. I also enjoy planning trips and itineraries for our family vacations. I could spend 3 days straight planning an itinerary and not get bored. I often find myself wishing that I had more time for these things.
3. I love to explore outdoors. When we lived in Kauai, I loved that we were able to explore a new beach, or hiking trail, every week. Two summers ago, I took my son to a new park in the Miami area every Friday to explore and enjoy. We also love going to zoos and amusement parks, as well. These are our favorite things to do as a family and they bring me great joy.
I am open to working with any age, as long as they aren’t disruptive or unhelpful. I get flustered easily by people who cause me to do “double-work”.
I don’t like for people to feel ignored or forgotten. It weighs heavily on me. I think that Next Steps and making sure the church is properly ministered to is very important.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I don’t know how to be brief on this… I attended church a few times as a child, mostly with various friends or with non-immediate family. It wasn’t until my grandmother married a Southern Baptist Preacher and inspired us to move to Miami, from Texas, that we became involved in weekly church attendance. Our family became heavily involved in ministry, helping my step-Grandfather try to rebuild a dying a church. I was 11 years old when I accepted Christ and was baptized. Our youth ministry was small and ineffective, but I remember being motivated and excited about sharing my faith as a young teenager. I was quickly discouraged without having teen friends at church, because I wanted to be accepted in school and found myself split between two worlds. It wasn’t until I found a group of friends in school who were saved and very involved in their churches. The most spiritual growth that I had in my teen years was when I attended other churches and camps with my friends. I remember feeling very convicted at a youth camp before my Junior year in highschool, which caused me to realize that I could no longer live between the two worlds. A couple years later, after being moved back to Texas by my parents and not being able to connect to anyone in our new church, I moved myself back to Miami and fully committed to serving in my Grandfather’s church and helping his and my uncle’s ministry. I served there until the church split and was dissolved into a new church. My husband and I were discouraged by the experience, moved away to start new lives and buried ourselves in work. We didn’t begin to attend church anywhere regularly until our son was born. It was a rough time, being without a faith family. We were struggling and stumbling, losing everything we had hoped for in our lives. It wasn’t until my husband decided to make a career change that we were able to start making healthier decisions for our lives. After attending CF for a few years, off and on, we found C2! God used the C2 to CF merge to change our lives. I don’t think we would’ve committed so fully into ministry like we did, if it weren’t for the encouragement and support of the Launch Team. We fell in love with the C2 family and decided almost immediately that this was where God meant us to be!
First Baptist Church of South Miami, FL : Worship Team & Choir/Kitchen Staff/Administrative Assistant : 14 years
Spring Baptist Church, Spring, TX: Choir : 7 months
Meeting my best friends, who were saved and were a positive and Godly influence for me.
Getting heavily involved in ministry with my family. It brought us all closer together.
The birth of my son. It made me reevaluate my life, my priorities and who I wanted to be, for him.
Walking away from the church for almost 10 years – straying from God and Christian community.
My marriage was completely in shambles by the time we found C2. We were literally weeks away from giving up, for good.
Rebellion to God’s will for my life. I’ve fought it hard, since being a teen. I was one person in church and in ministry and another person out and about in the world.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. Helping my in-laws come to know Christ. It seems impossible, without God’s help.
4. To learn how to speak about Christ or even pray in front of others. I am ashamed to say that I am terrified of this.
5. Going on a missionary trip – even in the US – seems big to me right now.
