Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up singing in church. While singing a song that my dad wrote I realized that I needed to give my heart to Jesus.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I always felt so much better about myself when I was singing in church and family gatherings even though it scared me to death to sing in front of a lot of people.

When I stayed with my Aunt one summer, we attended their church camp and worked in their garden. It was a summer full of learning. Such a peaceful summer.

Spending time with my grandmother who was fearless and God Loving.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

When I was 18; I was in an automobile accident, rolled my little S10 pickup 7 times. Thankfully God was watching over me that night. My dad had been drinking, I know he loved me but he didn’t show it that night. Maybe it was because he was drunk; I’ll never know, I felt that he was more concerned about the condition of the truck than about whether I was okay or not. This experience helps me understand someone who is feeling unloved or unwanted.

One of cousins was killed in a tragic automobile accident when she was just a toddler. She was in the blind spot of the vehicle that one of my aunts was leaving in; but as sisters the one aunt forgave the other aunt, I don’t know how long after the accident that the forgiveness happened, I just know that it did. This experience helps me understand that of someone going through a tragic, sudden loss.

Betrayal, adultery, addiction, and idolism have all touched my life in one or another. Loving someone with an addiction to drugs, women and material possessions have shaped me into a woman who is strong and independent but also into a woman who understands what a person is going through when they are in a similar situation.
