S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Hanna Kikendall for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

[H]eart
1. I love to watch my daughter dance. I really enjoy anything she does, but watching her dance is really my most favorite.
2. I love to read. I read anything and everything. I read for enjoyment and I read to learn.
3. I love to learn. I am constantly seeking to learn new things. Learning not only makes my life better, but enables me to make things better for people around me.
I don’t really have a preference. I’ll work with anyone. I don’t love the idea of working with babies though. I guess I do prefer people who can talk.
I think above really captures what excites me most. I enjoy planning things and breaking down big tasks into doable tasks. I like to see the outcome of hard work. In the end though, I usually end up teaching something. While I do enjoy teaching, I would like to expand my horizons and try to do something new.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I am one of those Church Camp experience Christians. I always went to church when I was a kid, but it was definitely my middle school years that made my decision. I went to camp 6th-8th grade and was baptized the summer before 9th grade. High school and college I drifted in and out of being a “good” Christian, and fortunately, God never left me. Now as an adult, I feel like I have a better understanding and now have a grown up relationship with Christ.

Uhhh. This is a little too deep and I also don’t really have a lot of terribly negative experiences in my life, which I guess is a good thing, but…
I did, recently, have a student murder someone and then kill himself. That has really given me a compassion that I didn’t know was even possible. I have never felt compassion for a murderer until then. I never even thought a murderer, or any other serious criminal for that matter, deserved my compassion until that happened. Now I wonder what was going through his mind at the time. Was he crying? Was he scared? That also gives me compassion toward the family. It also makes me have compassion towards people who think suicide is the only way out. It makes me want to be able to do something to change their minds and lead or remind them that God is there, and they are worthy of life.
My best friend got sick last year and almost died. I always made fun of her for being a hypochondriac. Needless to say, I felt like a really crappy friend after that and have tried to be more compassionate toward people when they say they don’t feel well.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. To be able to foster and educate tons of children. Kind of like a big orphanage, but a good one, not a bad one! Like a college/boarding school kind of atmosphere. Does that even make sense?
4. To be able to tithe more.
5. To donate my kidney and to get others more involved in donation.
