S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Judy Hudson for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
At age 40, God called me through a radio ministry & continually stimulated my curiosity which led me to attend a Crusade. This process changed my life!
Pacific Coast Church, San Clemente/CA – Administrative Staff 17 years.
Served in Missions, Children & Youth, Worship & Care ministries.
Couples Group co-leader, participated in special events choir.
Married for 53 years. We have a successful son & daughter & four grandchildren.
God answering a longtime prayer (literally putting the words in my head) of how to open the door, make peace with a family member, possibly re-establish a relationship & solve difficult problem.
When I found out that our friends from college had been praying for our salvation for over 20 years!
My father was an alcoholic.
After many years successfully working on our financial goals, my husband lost his job. While he was unemployed, he was unable to find a job in the same salary range. He eventually found a job with lower pay. We tried to keep up & catch up but eventually gave up & declared bankruptcy.
Health changes & challenges. After being healthy & active all my life, I had a few minor setbacks (ruptured appendix, fractured tibia while skiing). Then at age 63, I had open heart surgery followed by hip replacement 4 years later. Both have had side effects making it difficult to restore previous health levels.
