This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am extremely compassionate for others. When I know of another person´s pain, my heart hurts for them as well. I try not to judge others. I like to give second chances because I know that we are not perfect.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I thoroughly enjoy helping others out the best way I can. I like to volunteer and get involved with my community any way that I can. I do not want any gifts or money in return of my services. I just like spending time with the needy and making their lives better even if its for a day.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Whenever I sense that one of my close friends are going thru hardship, I try to encourage them by giving them a scripture to read. Sometimes I like to remind my troubled friends that God will make a way.
[H]eart
1. I like spending time with the elderly and those that have been abandoned by friends or family
2. Befriending lonely people who don´t fit in with their peer groups
3. Volunteering my time for a better cause
Older people. They have such kind spirits and they are so happy with a little bit of company
I recently saw a video where a preacher called out a gay man that was sitting in the church pews. He told the man to leave until he can dress like a man. (The man was dressed like a woman). I thought that this was a terrible thing to do. The pastor probably humiliated the man in front of an entire congregation. I think the pastor should have spoken to the man alone after church. It really hurts me that the pastor embarrased the man this way. We have to love and accept everyone no matter who they are. I felt that the pastor was extremely arrogant, selfish, and inconsiderate with how he handled this situation.

[E]xperience
After my close cousin went thru 8 years of kidney failure and dialysis, he finally got approved for kidney transplant in January 2017. I was mad at the world for a long time because my cousin has Down Syndrome. It is difficult for him to speak for himself. I couldn´t understand why God will bring this situation upon him.
Bethany Maranatha Baptist Church

Miami, FL 33150
I have been at this church for most of my life.
I was involved with Sunday School for a while. I did the sound checks for the morning services for several years.
Being raised by strict parents. When I was younger, I did not like it. But now that I am older, I am grateful that they raised me the way they did
Growing up alongside a cousin with down syndrome helped me to be considerate of others
Getting rejected by my dream school
