Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. My family is my joy and fulfillment. Spending time together. Growing together and learning together and experiencing new things together.

2. Keeping community together is one thing I love to do. Fellowship at church is integral. Getting together outside of the church setting too.

3. Missions. I love meeting new people and joining them wherever they are, encountering them that they are not alone. And it reminds me that we have brothers and sisters around the world, that our family is a lot smaller then we think. And that we all need each other.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Women, any age
Couples 20-40 years

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I became a Christian at the age of two. My personal relationship with Jesus Christ started at the age of 14 and was then baptized. I have always been very sensitive to the Holy Spirit. So I think God he saved me from a lot of heart ache, because he didn’t have to hit me over the head with a hammer to get my attention. I just listen to Him the first time.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Church ministry my whole life. Children’s, youth, women, evangelism, prison ministry, half way house.
In BC, Sask

Leader at children’s Camp for many years ages ranged from 7-17

Lived in Kenya for 10months did all kinds of ministry there in a different cultural setting.
Also traveled to China, Zambia, South Africa, Uganda

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Following the footsteps of some people that I thought were amazing has really set my feet on the path that I am today. Surrounding myself with people who I can learn from and try to be like, has been so important.

My experiences overseas have definitely shaped me into who I am today. It has opened my eyes and given me gods perspective on a lot of situations.

My one year prison ministry in Regina Sask. was such a huge privilege for me and impacted me deeply.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

There of been three instances in my life while in ministry where the leadership abused their power and authority over me. Which is probably why I don’t like to lead .

Building our family has taken 12 years and even now I still feel like we’re not done. We have experienced a lot of loss and Heartache and empty arms. This is brought me into a whole new community I didn’t know existed. It ignites a passion in me to speak about the sanctity of life. And so much more!

Husband being diagnosed last year.
