Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was raised in a Christian home and was a church member primarily until I was a young adult and rediscovered my faith for myself. I have found that spending time with God in solitude and silence as well as being outwardly focused in ministry is essential to growing and transforming. I am looking for a faith that is more about living a changed and transformed life that leads me into a hurting world than a faith that is focused on “right beliefs above all else.”

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I am Baptist and have been a member of chuches in several states. I have served as a Sunday school teacher, a Deacon, worked on many different missions committees, directed on going missions projects (hunger, prison, etc)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I was abused by a Christian youth leader in high school. After college, I finally shared my experience with an older Christian woman who lovingly shepherded me into healing and hope. In many ways, she kept me from losing my faith@@

Being a small group leader of women in transition has taken me from being a nervous and unsure leader to a place of confidence in encouraging women and listening with them to God’s voice.

I participated in a two year program called the Transforming Center which was a deep dive into spiritual rhythms and disciplines. My faith is at a much deeper place now and I feel I have tools to use to keep my faith active and alive.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I experienced significant shame and rejection when I exposed the abuse mentioned above. The church leaders initially did not believe me and the lack of support was devastating to me. While eventually the truth became clear, I lost faith and trust in Christian leaders for quite a while. I very much feel drawn to sit with women who have suffered abuse and just listen and believe compassionately.

We have a child with a chronic illness and while that was very hard, it has opened doors of understanding with other parents.

Dealing with divisions among Christians both in church and in society is discouraging to me. It also makes me want to learn how to encourage conversations which are difficult.
