Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I accepted Christ at the age of 19 during a college period of seeking. I had been involved in church from a young age initially in a catholic environment and in a nondenominational/Baptist setting.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

greeter/usher, 10th grade girls sunday school, life group host, kitchen help at a baptist church (large) for 15 years

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Becoming a nurse gave me stability, challenge and the opportunity to gain real perspective and problem solving abilities early in life. The ability to function daily in compassion and help those in need has been satisfying and keeps me grateful with clear priorities.

Raising kids has been the best and hardest thing…my reliance on God for wisdom and intentionally being “present” in day to day life.

Being with my husband…he continually shows me care and true compassion. He encourages me daily with his support and diligence to our family. He redirects me to remember God’s hand in our lives. He has shown me how to live with kindness and thoughtfulness to each other in a very consistent manner. He encourages creativity.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Divorce/ alcoholism of immediate family. Dysfunctional childhood.

Being so very poor in college has made me more compassionate to those in similar situations…and keeps me grateful for education opportunities.

Loss of a friend by domestic violence…I am more watchful and willing to ask some hard questions (tactfully and safely). I am violence-adverse.
