It is amazing to me to consider how words have the power to create life. In the beginning God spoke the world into existence. I believe that words are very powerful, so may they always be uplifting and encouraging. Bottom line: words can build up or they can tear down. I want to build others up. Create not destroy.

1. I love getting to know people and hearing their story. To be able to share stories and encourage others in this life is deeply satisfying because it reaffirms the great cause that we are aiming for: to remain faithful to the end.
2. I enjoy walking in step with the Holy Spirit and listening to his voice. The peace and the joy that comes form this relationship is amazing. So much of life is vying for control desiring our worries and thoughts but the Holy Spirit guards against such fears.
3. I desire to always be in unison with my wife and with relationships in my life: Family, Friends, etc. In these relationships I enjoy walking, hiking, eating, laughing, spending quality time together. The great outdoors is a great place for me to engage in these relationships or through working out together.
I love working with people similar in age to me (I am 30) because I feel that I can relate to them more easily.
I love the concept of church unity. I feel passionate about this in that I desire for the church (universal) to be united in finishing the task that Jesus has commanded us.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
My family has been a strong foundation for my faith. My parents taught my brothers and I the word of God from a young age. I accepted Christ at the age of 12 at White Mills Christian camp and was baptized there at the camp.
Led a leadership group in our home while at Johnson University. My wife and I volunteered teaching English to international students using the Bible for a 1 1/2 years in Knoxville, TN.
Helped lead a Bible-Study while in Iraq with my buddy.
Last summer, spent 3 months with my wife teaching English in Italy using the Bible as a story set from the Creation to the Cross. Continued to work with students sharing our testimonies and the gospel with them after the 6 week course was over.
My time in the Navy. Challenged me to either accept my faith or leave it behind. My faith was strengthened during this time.
Growing up in a missionary family. Changed my outlook on life from a young age.
Being married to my wonderful wife. Marriage has given me an accurate reflection of my character. This is a stepping stone in life that continually helps me understand that I always have room to grow.
My time in the Navy was a difficult time for me as well. I did not have fellowship with many believers during this time and it challenged me in dealing with loneliness and isolation.
Sometime around when I was 8-10 years old I remember feeling inadequate or fearful about how others perceived me. This affected me for many years in that I was afraid to speak up for myself and for others. I was fearful. I thought that I wasn’t good enough and that people would not accept me. Having gone through that and experiencing the love of God in my life has greatly encouraged me in knowing that God has revealed his power in our weakness.
When I was younger I remember being part of a sports team that always lost. It was challenging to be on a team that seemed to always lose because I come from a competitive family that likes to win when we compete. So, it was a humbling experience to say the least and it caused me to reconsider my attitude about team sports from a young age.
