S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Joel Fletcher for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have a natural pull towards people who are having a hard time coping with situations in life. I know what it feels like to feel like a ‘loser’ or an outcast, so in the strength that I have right now, I attempt to lend a helping hand and encouragement where possible.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My father is a pastor, so I feel like I developed, or possibly have the spiritual gift to understand teachings and explain them in a simpler but wholistic way. Listening to my father write and rehearse sermons are also a way I started to understand how the word was meant to be interpreted and applied.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am a navigator by profession so I feel I am very organized when I need to be. I am great with math and calculations, timing, and prioritizing.
[H]eart
1. I love to travel and go to new places, with friends. I love the feeling of fellowship and having around good people.
2. My passion is music. I play 3 instruments and have been doing music production all my life. I enjoy recording and making music on my computer.
3. I love sports and outdoor activities. I love playing football, swimming and trying new sports and activities with friends.
People around my age make me most comfortable, but I also feel like I develop beyond my years when I work with people who are slightly ahead of me in life. I enjoy people who are ‘real’, who make mistakes just like me, and aren’t afraid or too prideful to show their flaws and encourage people just like themselves.
People thinking I’m soft or have ‘switched up’ due to my relaxed nature. I have challenges really submerging into the church involvement as it pertains to ministries because I don’t want to be seen holistically as the average ‘church boy’. I appreciate and believe I was made by God to have a demeanor that is of such that you wouldn’t expect me to be a Christian, and I find this allows me access to people that wouldn’t listen to the average ‘church guy’

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I was born in a Christian family always hearing about God and how he has changed people’s lives but I really got to know Christ from a teen camp named Moorlands. There, I was able to have the gospel broken down to me in a way I could understand, with people my age present who also encouraged me to take the step.
Served 2 years on missions on the Logos Hope.
The ship that travels the world spreading the Gospel.
Served as an usher for 1 year at Transformed Life Church
Served as a helper in teens camp for Transformed Life Church
I’ve done music performances for Transformed Life Church
Having a loving family who cares about your well-being.
Being able to travel the world and gaining knowledge of different cultures
Being born in a family that never had serious financial problems, allowing me access to things that my parents were not able to have access to when they were my age.
Feeling like the outcast. Feels of being a failure or a ‘loser’
The negative backlash from communities due to being a pastor’s child. The pressure felt from these communities and how they judged me as a person due to that fact.
Having struggled with specific things that would not be pleasing to God, and seeing the negative repercussions of those actions play out in life for many years.
