S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you John Mizerak for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

My wife got saved and as I witnessed her change, it made sense to me and I accepted Christ as well.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Director of Ministry Operations
The Life Church, 11234 Balls Ford Road, Manassas, VA 20109

Church Operations Consultant
Unity, 214 South King Street, Leesburg, VA 20175

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Marrying my first wife, raising 3 kids and being married for 27 years until her untimely death.

Losing everything (financially) and then having my wife die allowed me to start over at 50 years old.

Marrying my current wife at 51 years old and starting life over (completely).

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Losing my wife of 27 years.

Losing my business after 23 years.

Starting life over at 50 years old.
