I grew up in the Methodist Church with Step Father being a Methodist Minister in West Virginia. I have bounced between churches over the last 30 years do to work and moves. Have attended both Methodist and Baptist but never being an active participant do to jobs and not knowing when I would have time to provide the committal needed to be active. I guess at times you could say I did not walk the walk or talk the talk. I moved to Cape Coral a year ago and want to get back to being active and walk further in Jesus path.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I grew up in the Church where my family and I participated often. I have always tried to do my best to be a good Christian but I failed miserably. Church was not a high priority and I bounced between churches with no true commitment to the Church or its teachings. I started attending Grace about a year ago and want to recommit to Christ and be an active participants and when possible use my skills to help others.
Probably on of the most impactful items in my life was the Marshall University Football team plane crash in 1971. I lost several of my roommates and my Big Brother in my fraternity. I was an average student till that point and I buckled down and became an above average student as well as a successful business person. It is sad to say that a tragedy saved me. God does work in mysterious ways.
My four grandchildren definitely bring true happiness to me. They even believe some of their Grandfather’s stories.
I will always remember a young man coming to my office after we had located a new factory in the community. About a week after it opened, he came to thank me for his first high paying job. He said he was able to provide for his family. I also saw him in church the next week.
Divorce
Death of my parents .
My sister had a frontal lobe disease which caused early dementia. Thank the Lord for his mercy and she is not as bad as was expected.H
