Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

From a very young age I have always felt the call of God on my life. When I went through confirmation classes it helped me to understand and confirm my beliefs.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

FUMC Jasper, alabama in the mid 90’s served on the administrative board, volunteered in the Youth ministry. Church at Brook Hills around 1998 worked in the children’s ministry until 2000. FUMC Jasper alabama 2000-2005 children’s ministry, sound board. Liberty Crossing’s united Methodist church served board of trustees, children’s ministry and power point in worship. Trussville FUMC children’s ministry. Photography work in all areas.

Cullman FUMC- Children’s Ministry, Lay leader, power point during worship service. Photography work. Sent by the conference to London England to help set up children’s ministry for UMC Zimbabwe congregation.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My Dad taking me to communion at young age. As a young age church was always had a positive experience.

Having a best friend that was a believer. He was christian of another denomination but we were able to share the same core values. But were able to talk about our denomination differences.

My wife is also a believer who was also from a different denomination. Here again our core beliefs are the same, so we are always able to discuss any religious difference easily.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Church Politics

Having a spouse who is a paid ministry staff person.

Even though God may be calling you to do something. There are others within the body that will disagree with you.
