My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I accepted Christ on September 11, 2001 after the twin towers we’re attacked. I was 6 years old. I didn’t truly start to follow Christ until I was about 15 though.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

South Florida Church of the Nazarene District Assembly Ordination Ceremony. That’s where I felt God’s call on my life to be a pastor.

General Assembly for the Church of the Nazarene. Worldwide gathering of our global church together in one place. Incredible experience to see and be a part of.

Starting Celebrate Recovery last year has changed my life and God has used it to work in me in ways I thought were not possible.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I was sexually abused when I was 15.

I was told that I need to really double check that I was called to ministry or else I would be miserable my whole life.

I went to college in 2013 and came home a semester later after going into the hospital for wanting to kill myself.

3. I would want to go back to school for ministry and eventually be ordained to serve in the United Methodist Church as an elder of the church.
