S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Jonathan Dagerath for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I always love encouraging people because I love seeing the light come back into their eyes and seeing life come into their face! I believe that most people are so beaten down by things they face that being an encourager is one of the biggest ways I can bless someone!
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love giving because I think that giving is one of the best ways that we demonstrate our dependence on God. Also, I love seeing how it blesses people. I think that by giving generously, we demonstrate the generosity of God to us and that causes people to want to know why we are so generous. My desire to give is also why I want to make a lot of money, so that I have more money to give!
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have the gift of pastoring/shepherding because I love seeing people grow in their understanding of God, His word, and themselves so they know how to act in their lives. I believe that we should all be like the men of Issachar, who knew the signs of the time and what to do.
[H]eart
1. I love meeting with people, hearing about their passions and what they want to do and then creating a plan with them to accomplish those things. I think that helping people accomplish the work God has put in their heart is the best way to serve them and help them serve others. Primarily, I love doing this through a coaching environment. I like to do some teaching but just to build a common foundation and vocabulary. After the foundation is built, I love getting to coach people to take the steps they need to accomplish the things that are in their heart
2. I also love helping people catch a vision for how their lifestyle can be set up to live the life God is calling them to live. I believe that minimalism and zero consumer debt can significantly increase the generosity of the church and give more people time to do the things they love, like spending time with family.
3. I also love introducing people to living a healthy lifestyle and how natural medicines can help alleviate many of the problems that people experience on a daily basis. I believe that the body wants to heal itself and all we need to do is give it the right conditions to do that!
I really am not sure who I love working with or what kind of people I have favor with. I know that in the past, I’ve worked with high schoolers and young adults and I have enjoyed those things but I haven’t ever worked with someone who is older than me.
The significant amount of people who are unhappy in their jobs and unhappy with their health is a problem that really concerns me. I believe that everyone should be doing things they enjoy, be physically able to do that job, and love the body they are in. The fact that few people are doing this in a Gospel centered, biblical way is very concerning to me because I KNOW that the Bible has the answers and that Christ gives us the wisdom but very few people are doing it from that perspective. There are many people out working on those issues but they don’t provide lasting change or breakthrough and that keeps people stuck in a terrible cycle of bondage rather than experiencing freedom in Christ.

Self-employed career coach
I have been an academic life coach, I’ve led a consulting team for a graduate school capstone project, I’ve worked as an entry level HR specialist for Corporate Social Responsibility and org. development
I have a skill of listening, asking questions, and helping people cut through the noise of their life and identify what the next step is that they need to take to get where they want to go.
I have taught classes on getting clarity in the job search, I am going to teach a class next week on what to think through when considering a master degree. Other than that, I haven’t really had much of a chance to teach a class or seminar.
giving people a non-judgmental space to air out their problems and encouraging them to move forward on the things that matter to them. I am ultimately a coach and an encourager.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I accepted Christ into my heart when I was about 7 or 8 but it wasn’t until I was 21/22 that I really came to understand the power of the Gospel and what it meant for my life.
I served with Worldview Academy, an apologetics and leadership camp for high school students, as a camp counselor from 2014-2016.
I’ve served nonprofits in several capacities. I’ve been a grant researcher and writer for nonprofits. I’ve volunteered as a football coach for a nonprofit that gave homeschoolers the opportunity to play sports in Texas. As a part of my capstone experience, I helped put together a mission level measurement system for a private family foundation.
When I was an academic life coach, I loved being able to coach high school student. That opened up the whole world of coaching to me and I fell in love with coaching and the coaching process!
When I was a part of Worldview Academy, I absolutely loved that because that was the closest I’ve felt to being part of an authentic biblical community. The work I was doing with students was fulfilling and the relationships I built with other staff members was enriching!
I absolutely loved being a football coach. Being with the players, helping them improve through the season, developing strategies each week to help the team succeed, and then seeing all of the guys have fun was really great!
My masters degree program was extremely difficult and turned out to have very few things that I was interested in, probably 80% of what I learned were things that I was not very excited about or ever desired to learn. I learned a lot about perseverance and doing my best in every situation but I was miserable for a good portion of my degree program
My first job after graduation ended up being a carousel of different bosses every 3 months as bosses left to pursue different positions. Then I was finally placed in a position doing work that I was not good at and for a cause I did not agree with. This created a very difficult environment for me. This really demonstrated to me that I’m not good at everything and that I need to spend the time to get focused on the things I am good at and say yes to those things. This is also what spurred my desire to be a career coach and help people not end up in that same situation.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. Break complacency off the church and give people clarity in what God is calling them to do and the confidence/support to actually do that.
4. Inspire people to live healthy lives so they are free from the bondage of the healthcare system and free to pursue what God has called them to do
5. Help young adults understand how to invest in a way that sets them up to be free from the bondage of debt so they are free to pursue what God has called them to do.
