S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Janessa Smith for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel like I have this gift first, because my dad has this gift! So DNA played a big part in the result of this gift. But mainly I believe I have this gift because I have a passion for people; no matter who. I try to take advantage of opportunities I have to share my beliefs.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I believe I have this gift because I am outgoing. People excite me and the more, the merrier! I also love to lift others up, and make them feel better and pour life into them. Sometimes, all people need is to know someone cares.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Like evangelism, I inherited this gift from my mother who was a teacher in the school system. I would say I enjoy sharing my personal experiences with other people in order to encourage them or enter in to where they are.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I was very young and one day I told my mom that I either didn’t want to go to hell or I wanted to go to heaven. She led me to Christ and I’ve been a believer ever since.
I was a teachers aide in Sunday School for a couple years at my previous church, The Washington Christian Center, in Hillcrest Heights, MD.
God delivering me and boys out of bad relationship unharmed.
How my mom has stuck by my side through the roughest times. It gives me the passion to be there for other people in their darkest times.
I went to a culturally diverse university, which was a big difference from growing up in PG County. So I feel like attending that school has made me more aware of the different types of people there are, and helped me relate to all kinds of people.
The rejection from my dad.
Having two babies out of wedlock. Don’t get me wrong though. I wouldn’t trade them for anything!
I was formerly in a relationship with a guy who struggled with mental health issues, and he also happened to be my boys’ father.
